Independently lead and manage international sourcing activities for Fresh Food categories, ensuring competitive product offerings, reliable suppliers, product quality, food safety compliance and efficient import operations.

Act as the key focal point for international sourcing, working directly with the Fresh Commercial Director and cross-functional teams to drive category development, sourcing performance and business growth.

A. International Sourcing & Supplier Development

• Independently identify, evaluate, negotiate and develop reliable international suppliers for Fresh Food products, particularly Produce and Protein.
• Source and propose new products aligned with customer demand, market trends and CRV's commercial strategy.
• Develop and execute sourcing and import plans to ensure product availability, freshness, quality and cost competitiveness.
• Monitor international market trends, competitor activities and sourcing opportunities.

B. Commercial Negotiation & Category Development

• Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, Incoterms, MOQ, payment terms, lead times and other commercial conditions within approved authority.
• Analyze product costs, landed costs, margins and commercial feasibility to recommend competitive sourcing solutions.
• Work closely with the Commercial team to develop product assortments, pricing strategies and category performance.
• Propose sourcing initiatives to improve sales, profitability and product competitiveness.

C. Import Operations & Performance Management

• Oversee the end-to-end sourcing and order process, from supplier selection and purchase orders to shipment and delivery.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Supply Chain and QA/QC teams to ensure import compliance, cold chain integrity, product quality and food safety standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues related to shipment delays, product quality, shelf life, inventory and import procedures.
• Monitor sourcing performance, product availability, stock levels and sell-through to recommend corrective actions.

D. Cross-functional Coordination & Reporting

• Act as the primary contact between international suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Work independently with relevant departments to resolve operational issues and ensure timely execution.
• Prepare sourcing updates, commercial analysis, supplier performance reports and recommendations directly for the Fresh Commercial Director.
• Identify sourcing risks, propose solutions and escalate significant issues when required.
• Support and guide team members or relevant colleagues in sourcing and product development activities when applicable.

Functional Knowledge & Experience

• Strong knowledge of Fresh Food categories, particularly Produce and Protein, international sourcing and supplier markets.
• Good understanding of import procedures, cold chain logistics, food preservation and food safety standards.

• Strong commercial acumen, including product costing, margin analysis, negotiation and supplier performance management.

Ability to independently manage sourcing activities and make recommendations to senior management.

Education: Bachelor’s degree (Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, Food-related fields preferred).

Seniority: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in international sourcing, import-export, or FMCG, preferably in Fresh Food.

Language:  Fluent in English & Vietnamese
