Category Manager - Softline

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute category plans to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Build and manage strong supplier relationships; negotiate pricing, trading terms, and promotions.
  • Plan and manage seasonal assortments and fashion campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to ensure effective product display and sell-through.
  • Monitor sales performance, margin, and inventory to optimize results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or category management in the fashion or retail industry.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of fashion trends and consumer insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
  • English communication skills (both written and spoken).
