ACTIVITIES
- Manages bidding and procurement of noncommercial goods for new store openings, renovation projects and existing stores (replacement, warranty etc) - Negotiates prices/conditions with suppliers - Overseas & assists in after sales support, maintenance or related matters - Coordinates & communicates timelines, lead times to meet requirements and project targets |
COMPETENCIES
- Strong negotiating skills, quick analytical thinking, attention to detail - Good knowledge of retail (supermarket/hypermarket) assets & equipment, include storage & office - Familiar with supply chain and project management tasks |
REQUIRED BACKGROUND & ATTITUDE
Experience: - Strong purchasing/procurement background (at least 3 years experience in similar field) - Experienced with accounting procedures & office data processing such as filing/archiving Additional Advantages: - Background in retail, store/brand expansion or accounting and financial - Knowledge in M&E, construction, and related software like AutoCAD Language: Fluent in English (verbal & written) Office Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) |
