Business Development Coordination Manager

MISSION

The Business Development Coordination Manager drives effective collaboration across Business Development teams and key internal and external stakeholders to support expansion projects and deliver company growth targets. This role ensures smooth project workflow, clear ownership, timely approvals, transparent risk management, and effective reporting throughout the project lifecycle.


ACTIVITIES

1. Coordination & Governance

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to support store openings, remodelings, relocations, and other expansion initiatives.
  • Ensure clear project ownership, workflow efficiency, timeline follow-up, and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Manage internal approval processes and support governance for key business development projects.
  • Contribute to the development of SOPs, reporting tools, and working processes to improve collaboration and execution.

2. Expansion & Stakeholder Management

  • Support site selection and project progress in coordination with internal teams and external partners.
  • Work closely with brokers, landlords, developers, consultants, contractors, shopping center leasing teams, and local authorities.
  • Maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders to facilitate project development and approvals.

3. Project Follow-up

  • Support the end-to-end expansion project lifecycle from site evaluation to store opening.
  • Monitor timelines, risks, quality, and cost with relevant departments to ensure execution in line with business requirements.
  • Coordinate with related teams to anticipate issues and support timely solutions.

4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular reports on project pipeline, timeline status, key risks, and financial impact.
  • Track deviations, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support post-opening review and continuous improvement of expansion processes.

COMPETENCIES

Functional Knowledge & Experience

  • Good understanding of Vietnamese regulations related to land, construction, investment, and real estate.
  • Knowledge of retail expansion, project coordination, and store development processes.
  • Basic understanding of legal, finance, and risk considerations in project execution.

REQUIRED BACKGROUND & ATTITUDE

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Retail Management, or related fields.
  • Experience: 3–4 years of experience in real estate, construction, retail expansion, project coordination, or related functions.
  • Language: Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
  • Office skills: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Attitude: Proactive, collaborative, organized, confident, open-minded, and committed to business growth.
