Master data Specialist implements and develops data management strategy to ensure quality input to accounting systems. This position contributes to the design and optimization of data workflows by:

- Optimizing Master data policy and process flow: data validation and approval, create/edit/block/delete master data, master data template, cleansing checklist and report
System in scope (but not limited to): SAP
Role Description
Daily operation of master data management, including:
- Execute changes to SAP master data as approved by the business (e.g. material, user, purchasing information record, etc.)
- Control and standardize master data: assure data maintained in system complies with corporate Master Data policy
- Execute mass updates
- Work with business users to resolve master data issues
- Comply to master data policy and business process, cooperate with Audit when required and improve continuously the master data process and policy
- Optimize master data template
- Perform and report about data cleansing periodically
- Create and update training document, conduct training related to Master data
- Participate in projects and initiatives related to master data
Qualifications
- Have previous master data management experience in SAP, preferrably minimum 2 years
- Be analytically minded and methodical problem solver
- Be able to multi-task with efficient tasks organization and proper prioritization, communicate with respectful and timely manner
- Strong MS Office suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
