Risk Management Assistant Manager

MISSION:

Responsible for developing and implementing the company’s enterprise risk management framework, ensuring the identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring and reporting of strategic, operational, financial, legal and regulatory risks across the organization.

This position ensures the protection of company assets, reputation and continuity of operations and supports sustainable growth, compliance and customer trust.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Structure and Process Risk Management Function

  • Define and maintain the enterprise risk management framework aligned with business strategy
  • Develop and implement risk management processes and risk mapping covering all Business Units and Departments as well as key areas of risks that require to be covered in retail business
  • Develop the risk reporting and escalation framework and provide regular reports to internal stakeholders
  • Establish and support risk governance structures and advise senior management on significant risks

2. Drive Risk Identification & Assessment

  • Maintain and develop an up-to-date Group-wide risk heat map with risk owners and mitigation plans
  • Lead periodic risk assessments across Business Units and Departments
  • Identify key risks exposures and evaluate emerging risks
  • Record and address incidents via a dedicated report

3. Manage Risk Monitoring and Mitigation

  • Partner with business leaders to design and monitor effective risk mitigation controls
  • Monitor risks indicators (KRIs) and ensure risk mitigation plans are effectively implemented and followed up

4. Project Management

  • Work on projects as approved by risk committed.

5. Last control check on new formalized processes (esp., as part of Org Transformations)

6. Support Head of Risk Mgt in ESG liaison with CRC Teams

COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor of Business, Finance or Accounting/ Auditing. MBA or any other professional qualifications is a plus.
  • At least five years of relevant working experience in risk management,
  • Retail or FMCG background is preferred.
  • Advanced in MS and/or other data analytic tools (SQL, Power Query, Power App, Power BI...).
  • Fluent in English is a must.
  • Strong communication skills and highly experience in stakeholder management.
  • Critical thinking, attention to details, passionate and result oriented.
  • Capacity to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
  • Strong business acumen.
