Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site IT Project Manager role at Central Retail in Ho Chi Minh City. This position extends beyond traditional project coordination — we are seeking someone who can take full ownership of both project delivery and solution direction, making meaningful contributions across both business and technical domains.
The Project Manager will:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and quality expectations
- Actively participate in business analysis, requirement validation, and solution design
- Collaborate with stakeholders to shape system architecture and define the technical approach
- Work closely with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and implementation alignment
- Serve as a key communication bridge between business users, BAs, developers, and QA teams
- This role is ideal for candidates with strong project leadership skills combined with a solid understanding of system architecture, integration design, and technical workflows, particularly within the retail industry context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects
- Work with BAs and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
- Participate in or lead the development of BRD, FSD, TRD, and solution design documentation
- Provide high-level solution direction to ensure alignment with both business goals and technical feasibility
- Collaborate with architects and developers to review and validate system designs
- Identify risks and proactively drive mitigation strategies
- Support UAT preparation, deployment planning, and post-launch activities
- Ensure timely and transparent communication across all stakeholder groups
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management, ideally in roles blending PM and SA responsibilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability to bridge gaps between business needs and technical solutions
- Experience with enterprise systems, APIs, integrations, and end-to-end data flow
- Familiarity with modern system architecture concepts (e.g., modular, service-based architecture)
- Hands-on experience drafting BRD, FSD, TRD, SAD, or similar documentation
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and project governance processes
- Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalents
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills in both Vietnamese and English
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in retail system projects is highly desirable.
