Supply Chain Finance Business Controller

About my Role
I am responsible for providing financial insights and support to the supply chain function,
ensuring effective financial planning, analysis, and control. This role requires a strategic
thinker with strong business & finance acumen and experience in supply chain finance.

and logistics team members, helping them serve customers better whilst ensuring long
term financial sustainability.

 Financial Planning and Analysis
Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the supply chain
function, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
 Cost & Funding Management
Analyse and monitor supply chain costs & funding, identifying opportunities for
cost reduction, efficiency improvements and funding improvements.
 Performance Reporting
Prepare and present financial reports and performance metrics to supply chain
and senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
 Business Partnering
Collaborate with supply chain leaders to provide financial guidance and support
for strategic decision-making.
 Team Leadership
Support and challenge individuals to achieve their full potential. Setting stretching
objectives and measuring progress against them. Develops self and others and
manages resources effectively.
 Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial controls and
reporting within the supply chain function.
 Risk Management
Assess financial risks related to supply chain operations and develop mitigation
strategies.
 Inventory & Cash Flow Management
Support inventory management processes, ensuring accurate valuation and
reporting of inventory levels.
 Compliance
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining
accurate and transparent financial records.

 Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at
least 2 years in a supply chain finance role.

 Education & Certifications
o Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a
related field.
o Relevant certifications such as CPA, CMA, or similar are a plus
