Key Responsibilities
Training Program Development
- Develop and update training materials for Fresh Food categories: Meat, Seafood, Fruits & Vegetables, Delica, Bakery, etc.
- Build training roadmaps for different staff levels: new hires, store staff, team leaders, and section managers.
- Integrate food safety standards, quality control, and internal SOPs into training programs.
Training Delivery
- Conduct classroom and on-the-job training (OJT) for store teams.
- Train staff on operational and technical skills such as product handling, display, storage, waste control, inventory checks, meat cutting, and bakery preparation.
- Coach teams on customer service and sales techniques within Fresh Food departments.
Evaluation & Monitoring
- Measure training effectiveness through assessments and store performance tracking.
- Identify skill gaps and propose improvement plans.
- Support staff capability evaluation and internal certification programs.
Process Improvement & Coordination
- Collect store feedback to improve SOPs, processes, and training methods.
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, QA, and Operations teams to ensure consistent nationwide implementation.
Requirements
Education: College degree or above in Human Resource Management, Training, or related fields. Knowledge of Food Technology, Culinary Arts, Retail Management, or Hospitality is a plus
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Training or HR within Retail, Manufacturing, or Education environments. Experience as a trainer or team leader is preferred
Skills: Strong presentation, communication, and hands-on training skills. Good understanding of food handling and food safety standards
Tools: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Mobility: Willing to travel frequently for in-store training activities.
