MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
SCOPE : Fashion (Softline)
Sourcing Strategy Preparation
- Align sourcing objectives with overall commercial goals
- Organize strategy alignment meetings with stakeholders
- Evaluate vendors’ selection criteria and target for each on price, capacity, quality, lead times.
Vendor Pre-selection & Launch
- Consolidate shortlist based on sourcing criteria (price, quality, potential)
- Finalize vendor profiles and specifications (costing, terms, capacity)
- Collect and prepare documentation: drawings, packaging, certifications, NDAs.
Negotiation & Selection (both permanent and activations)
- Send invitations, lead commercial discussions, and select vendors
- Ensure vendor compliance with product specs (SKU, volume, packaging)
- Present final recommendations and documentation to VSC for approval.
Ordering & Contract Finalization
- Create SAP POs and compile all supporting documents (contracts, certifications, PO plans)
- Finalize procurement projections: OTB, TNA, specifications
- Confirm order details: visuals, SAP codes, samples, golden samples.
Production Follow-up
- Monitor production milestones (30%, 60%, 90–100%)
- Ensure quality compliance for OEM and non-OEM products.
Supervise master data accuracy and consistency on the category.
REQUIREMENTS
Functional skills:
- Strong ownership of end-to-end sourcing strategy and vendor management within the assigned category
- Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to secure competitive cost, quality, and lead time
- Solid experience in international sourcing, supplier negotiations, and deal-based purchasing
- Strong understanding of cost structure, product specifications, and sourcing KPIs (cost, margin impact, lead time, MOQ)
- Ability to translate category needs, market trends, and commercial targets into effective sourcing strategies
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with Category Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Merchandising, and Operations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related fields.
Experience : 5–8 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, preferably in retail, FMCG, or manufacturing.
Language: Fluent in Vietnamese, proficiency in English.
Office skills: proficient in MS Office, Excel, experienced with ERP / retail systems (SAP or equivalent) is preferred.
Attitude: Hardworking, strong ownership mindset, commercially driven, result-oriented, and comfortable working under pressure.
